I spent most of my professional life as a Community Nurse for people with learning disabilities and a Family Planning Nurse in London, and a Forensic Nurse working with young offenders in Hertfordshire. I spent six years living in the south of France.
I am an alumnus of The Novelry and the CBC Edit and Pitch Your Novel course.
When not writing, I feel responsible for feeding every bird and hedgehog that visits and lives in the garden.
I live on the Norfolk border with my husband and our demanding rescue cat. Our daughters have flown the nest. I am rather partial to a Pimms on a hot day and shepherding my mother around a garden centre.
